Who we are and why we are here...
The Kitchen Potager was created in 2009 to offer a unique destination venue for culinary and gardening experiences. You have found the shop that enhances those experiences. We have become close to the vendors and their unique products at our own Ottsville Farmers Market. The nature of our area is historically agricultural and presently offers the opportunity for entrepreneurs to thrive. Remote, yet accessible, to city life (75 miles from NYC and 50 miles from Philadelphia), The Kitchen Potager offers products to enhance your culinary gardening experiences while living in an urban apartment or modern homestead.
We seek out vendors with quality products. They become our friends as we enjoy market days in the cool rain or hot sun. We share our personal experiences and prefer to purchase products from these friends not only because we like them but because their products have unique quality. Thank you for sharing our vision. Our goal is to make your experience as enjoyable as possible from the ordering process to the receipt of your product. We accept Visa and MasterCard. We also accept checks and money orders. There is $25 returned check fee. Check and money order payments should be sent to:

Shipping
The Kitchen Potager offers shipping when it is more convenient than visiting the shop in the Stone Farmhouse at Linden Hill Gardens, 8230 Easton Road, Ottsville, PA 18942.
We ship product via the US Postal Service or UPS for an additional cost.
You have the option of Ground, 3-Day. 2-Day or 1-Day delivery.
Ground shipping times are not guaranteed to residential addresses and P.O. Boxes.
Products are shipped within 3 business days after we receive your order.
If shipping will be delayed, we will contact you by email. Shipping times cannot include Saturday or Sunday, so keep this in mind in the shipping delivery calculation.
At The Kitchen Potager we know how important it is for you to receive you package promptly and in good condition. We will do our best to make sure orders ship the next business day. If there will be any delay in shipping all or part of an order we will contact you via email. The Kitchen Potager works with USPS and UPS for shipping services.

Keep in mind shipping times exclude weekends and holidays and for shipments made to the contiguous United States. Shipments to P.O. Boxes may limit options.
Special shipping charges may apply with orders that involve certain products or that exceed $500 and 50 lbs. We will contact you by email before shipping if any additional charges apply.
Returns
Full refund will be offered to all unused items returned within 30 days of purchase with original packaging and accompanied by store receipt. All food and discounted items are sold on a non-returnable basis. If there is any damage to your products upon arrival, please let us know and we will kindly replace it for you.

We thank you for packaging the product in the same manner you would for any store requiring a return. * The item must be in original packaging.
- It must be packaged well enough to prevent damage
- It must be shipped to us within 30 days from receipt
Please include a copy of your receipt. If your purchase was paid with a credit card, a credit memo for that amount will be issued to your credit card company. If paid by check, a refund check will be sent to you.

Personal information you provide to us while creating or updating an account at checkout (name, address, billing info and credit card information) is maintained on our secure server outside our internal computer system.
Secure Shopping
Orders are made on our website use the *Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology frequently used by vendors to ensure the security of online business. It negotiates and employs the essential functions of mutual authentication, data encryption and data integrity for secure transactions. If you still have any concerns about ordering electronically, feel free to call 215.767.4051 and place your order over the phone. Please note that email is not encrypted and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card numbers. We will never ask for this information via email.
Email list
During your checkout you may elect to be added to The Kitchen Potager email list. The Kitchen Potager will not sell nor rent your email address to other companies. The notifications will include details on new merchandise at The Kitchen Potager as well as events that we organize at Linden Hill Gardens and in the community. Please note that The Kitchen Potager organizes the Ottsville Farmers Market at Linden Hill Gardens and therefore you will also receive weekly updates during the market season. Each email provides the option to unsubscribe from our distribution list. If you would like to opt out of any of these notifications, please let us know and we will customize your email notifications accordingly. We prefer to stay in touch with you on your specific interests than lose touch with you on all of our activities and products that may be of interest to you!

Local Delivery
We understand that time is difficult to come by these days! If you prefer to shop online and have items delivered to your door, we are able to schedule a time for local delivery, within 15 miles for an additional $15 please email kp@thekitchenpotager.com with your order. For places further away, we can try to accommodate your request depending upon your location and delivery timing. Please contact us to customize the plan.
